Who operates Missing Cents
Missing Cents is a personal finance practice game intended for high school students and the teachers and families who support them. It does not require an account.

What stays in this browser
When you play, Missing Cents uses this browser's local storage to save daily and practice progress. The saved record can include the set and question you reached, your submitted answers, the number of attempts, whether an answer was solved or revealed, completion status, content version, game mode, and start and update times. The last-used game mode is also saved.
This information lets the game resume on the same browser and keeps daily progress separate from practice progress. The game does not set an automatic expiration date. It remains until a later session replaces it, a content update makes it unusable, you clear it below, or you remove this site's data through your browser settings.
The active site does not use cookies or IndexedDB for game progress. It does not use browser storage for advertising or cross-site tracking. Browser or framework software may use temporary session storage for technical recovery, but that storage does not contain Missing Cents answers or progress.
Clear progress saved on this device
Use this control to erase only Missing Cents daily and practice progress and stored answers in this browser. It will not erase unrelated browser storage, and it does not delete technical request data processed by Firebase Hosting.
What leaves the device
Missing Cents is a static website. Its game code does not send submitted answers or saved progress to an account, database, analytics service, advertising service, or error-reporting service. Page visits still require ordinary internet requests to load HTML, scripts, fonts, images, and other files from Firebase Hosting.
Google explains that Firebase Hosting processes incoming IP addresses to detect abuse and provide usage analysis, and retains that IP data for a few months. Requests can also include information normally sent by a browser, such as the requested page, date and time, browser and device information, and referring page. This hosting-provider processing is separate from the progress saved by the game in your browser. Read more in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The current Missing Cents application does not include analytics tags, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, third-party embeds, or a system that sells game progress or answers. Its fonts, logos, icons, and gameplay previews are hosted with the site rather than loaded from third-party asset services.
Because the browser storage is used only to provide the save-and-resume feature requested when someone plays, the current technical setup does not call for a general-purpose cookie banner. Privacy and storage laws vary by location, however, and persistent storage is not automatically exempt everywhere.
External links and voluntary contact
Missing Cents links to Lyfe Course and to educational or government sources. Following an external link takes you to another service with its own privacy practices. Missing Cents does not control how those sites handle information.
The site has no contact form. If you voluntarily email help@lyfecourse.com, The Lyfe Course Inc receives the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message, and uses it to respond to and manage your request. This notice does not state a fixed retention period for contact messages.
Your choices
You can play without creating an account. You can clear saved game progress with the control on this page or remove Missing Cents site data in your browser settings. Blocking local storage may prevent saved progress from returning after a refresh, but the game can still work in memory during the current visit when the browser permits it.
Clearing browser progress does not remove request data already processed by Firebase Hosting. Questions or requests about privacy can be sent to help@lyfecourse.com.
Changes and effective date
The Lyfe Course Inc may update this notice when the site's data practices change. Material changes will be described on this page, and the effective date will be updated when a revised notice takes effect.
